We are seeking a few Mental Health Therapists for a Private Practice to join our team! You will have the opportunity to provide services through groups, family, or individual sessions. The right candidate should be deeply compassionate and possess excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills. A Master degree in Social Work, Counseling, along with licenses such as an (LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC-S or LPCC) are required for mental health therapists. One year minimum commitment with contract required for FT independent contractor and two year minimum commitment for PT independent contractor. If you are looking for either PT (10 or more patients/wk) or FT work (minimum 25 patients/wk), you MUST have an OH license in good standing with no malpractice claims, as well as active malpractice insurance. We will help guide you through the process of getting credentialed with major insurance companies (can take up to 90 to 120 days or 30 days if previously paneled). We handle all referrals, marketing, billing, office space, and administration. We have a wide referral base. We will get you patients ( the specific population you want to see) quickly. Telehealth is an option for therapists but you must live in the Ohio area. This is an opportunity to become a private contractor based upon % fee for service to either increase your income or gain independence, make your own hours, and reduce the commute! Responsibilities for Mental Health Therapist A mental health therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapy, counseling, and support services for a diverse caseload including; children, adults, adolescents, and families experiencing mental health issues, communication challenges, or family conflict. They are deeply familiar with other services and resources within the community and work closely with them to provide information and support when required.
